BEHIND THE BYTES / TRUST
Editorial approach & image credits
How the articles, illustrations and selections are put together.
Facts and stories have different labels
Historical and technical explainers link to the primary museum, institutional or research sources used for their factual claims. Folklore and storytelling are described as stories. Where a reconstruction or a detail remains uncertain, the article says so.
AI assistance, human ownership
The launch articles and original activities were researched and written with AI assistance for Alan’s Really Byte project. The editorial desk is a publication label, not a claim that we employ specialist historians, engineers or vets. We do not claim hands-on product testing or professional expertise we have not demonstrated.
Original art, actual PDF previews
The site’s vector illustrations, icons and game graphics were created for Really Byte. They are stylised illustrations, not documentary photographs, visitor maps or exact engineering drawings. Printable preview images are rendered from the actual supplied product PDFs. No museum photographs, Amazon product images or YouTube thumbnails have been copied.
Dates and corrections
Articles show their publication date. An updated date should be added only after a substantive change, not merely because the calendar moves. If you spot an error, email info@reallybyte.com with the page and the evidence; we can check the source and correct the article.
Selections, not invented reviews
Interesting Things explains why an item fits an activity and what to check before choosing. It does not invent ratings, current stock, price comparisons or personal testing. Outgoing affiliate links are labelled before the click.
